Klappentext

From chef, award-winning filmmaker, and Hamburger America author George Motz and award-winning illustrator Greg Paprocki comes the heartfelt story about how one girl and one burger put a tiny town on the map-with the can-do spirit of Virginia Lee Burton's classic picture books.

Ruby lives in a tiny town called Zipsville that only has one gas station and Mac's Lunch, a burger joint. Ruby visits Mac's Lunch almost every day and asks for a special burger not on the menu. And every time, Mr. Mac refuses to make it. And then bad news strikes: Zipsville is going to be incorporated into a larger town!

One day, a stranger enters Mac's Lunch asking for something special. Could Ruby's special burger be just the thing to get the stranger to spread the word about Mac's Lunch and to keep Zipsville from disappearing forever? Find out in this delightfully classic can-do story by chef and author George Motz and illustrator Greg Paprocki. And don't miss out on making your very own Ruby's special burger with the recipe at the end of the book!
