Gabriel Locke: Marcescent, Gebunden

Klappentext

Marcescent is a character-driven high fantasy that takes place on the brink of the end.

Cassin's quest to bring back the sun ended in the death of his friends, the doom of the world, and himself cursed to run from Fate until the earth swallows him whole. There was probably a joke in there somewhere, but 4, 000 years later, he hadn't found the punchline yet. Now he roams as Mister Spider, trading deals to steal a bit of soul so that he can survive a little longer with his sanity intact. He expects the world to forget him entirely, just as his own mind is rotting, rotting, rotting--but a chance encounter (or three) cast him once more onto center stage.

Between hiding from Night Gods, traveling through souls, and being dragged through the designs of a dragon priest, Cassin can no longer keep running. Hero or villain? Live or die? Bring back the sun or let the world crumble away beneath the Night?

Fate's ready to make him decide, one way or another.
