Fiona C McAndrew: A Change in the Glass, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

The sequel to A Storm in the Tea Leaves Ginny Thomas-Bell has spent thirty-one years learning to hide what she is. In Thorngill, a Yorkshire village that has never met her, she stops. Her gift for reading the weather saves a farmer's flock before she's even unpacked - and draws her into the quiet, unfinished grief of John Bramwell, whose wife walked out into a storm three years ago and never came home. The coroner called it exposure. The village calls it tragedy. Ginny's gift calls it something else entirely. As she and John dig for the truth about Alice's death, the trail leads back, impossibly, to Elderbeck - and to a locked cellar room that has waited three hundred years for three gifted women to open it together. What they find rewrites everything Ginny was ever told about her own family, and about who was truly the lesser line. A ghost story with its collar turned up against the wind, and a love story that asks for nothing more than to be believed - A Change in the Glass is for anyone who has ever left home to become someone worth returning as.
