Klappentext
Misfit scare actors at a Halloween attraction become paranormal investigators.
A mash-up of supernatural horror and slow-burn MM romance.
Maxwell saw the Haunted Mill attraction as nothing more than a temporary Halloween gig to get him through the fall. But he didn't expect Luke. Quiet. Guarded. Strange in a way Maxwell can't quite explain. He seems troubled by things nobody else can see, and the longer they work together inside the crumbling attraction, the harder Maxwell finds it to ignore him.
Then the mill burns.
An eccentric local fixture goes missing, and the people of Bramble Grove are quick to settle on an explanation: arson, suicide, case closed. But when the smoke clears, strange things begin happening around Luke. Messages from beyond. Unexplained fires. Entities made of ash and soot.
Maxwell doesn't believe in ghosts. But he believes Luke is terrified.
Former cast members reunite to search for answers. The closer they come to the truth, the more certain they become that something followed them out of the flames. And as the danger around Luke grows, so does the connection between him and Maxwell.
