Biografie
Eckart Frahm wurde 1941 in Flensburg geboren. Studium der Germanistik, Sportwissenschaft und Empirischen Kulturwissenschaft in Tübingen. Assimilierter Schwabe, lebt seit vielen Jahren in Rottenburg am Neckar. Journalist, Wächterpreis der deutschen Tagespresse. Kulturwissenschaftler, Dozent am Ludwig-Uhland-Institut der Universität Tübingen. Leiter der Arbeitsstelle "Sprache in Südwestdeutschland", betreut die umfangreichste Sammlung historischer Tonbandaufnahmen schwäbischer Dialekte, veröffentlichte zahlreiche Bücher und Artikel zur Kulturgeschichte Württembergs.
