Biografie (E. C. Segar)

Elzie Crisler Segar geboren 1894, entschloss sich mit 18 Jahren Comiczeichner zu werden. 1919 schuf er die "Fingerhutbühne", in der Popeye von einer Neben- rasch in die Hauptrolle wechselte und eine der erfolgreichsten Comicfiguren aller Zeiten wurde. E.C.Segar starb 1938.
