Sara Forster wurde in Hannover geboren und studierte Bibliothekswesen. Schon früh entdeckte sie ihre Liebe zu fernen Ländern und dem Schreiben. Besonders wüstenartige Gegenden haben es ihr angetan, die sie in den USA und Afrika bereist. Sie arbeitet heute als Bibliotheksleiterin in Niedersachsen.
