David Rubin: Trump and the Jews New, Undated Edition, Gebunden

Klappentext

Donald J. Trump's Presidency has evoked passionate reaction, on a level unparalleled in American history. Well into his second term, it still seems that not one American is neutral. His supporters adore him, while intense hostility from opponents continues to defy civil debate. At the center of this storm is his relationship with the Jews and Israel. In his first term, Trump enacted unprecedented pro-Israel policies, while in his second term, he partnered with Israel to confront Iran and launched a fierce crackdown against surging campus antisemitism. Even so, a majority of American Jews voted for Kamala Harris in 2024, raising a critical question: "Why does a leader so beneficial to Israel lack widespread political support from American Jews?""Trump and the Jews: New, Updated Edition" unpacks this paradox. This new edition also examines the growing danger from the socialist-Muslim radical alliance, and its hostility towards Israel, as well the emerging threats to Israel across the political divide.
