The growth of the chemical and petrochemical industries all over the world has created a whole new audience not versed in the historical record. Bhopal was the worst industrial accident in history. Incidents such as Bhopal can give the industry valuable lessons that lead to development, modification or reinforcement of the need for an element of process safety.
