Chernika L. Corbett: My Cup Wasn't Empty-It Was Cracked, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

My Cup Wasn't Empty-It Was Cracked is a deeply personal journey through survival, loss, healing, boundaries, and the difficult realization that constantly pouring into everyone else can leave cracks we never stopped long enough to notice. Chernika L. Corbett shares her story with honesty, humor, faith, and vulnerability-from losing herself in relationships and carrying the weight of being "the strong one" to navigating grief, caregiving, health challenges, and the process of finding her way back to herself. But this isn't simply a story about what happened to her. It's an invitation to look at your own cup. What happens when you're doing all the things you're supposed to do-praying, resting, journaling, setting boundaries, practicing self-care-and you still feel empty? Sometimes the problem isn't that the cup needs to be filled. Sometimes the cracks need attention. Through personal storytelling, reflection, affirmations, and moments that invite readers to pause and pour back into themselves, Chernika explores what it means to stop abandoning yourself while loving and caring for others. My Cup Wasn't Empty-It Was Cracked is for the strong one who is tired, the person rebuilding quietly, the caregiver who has forgotten to care for themselves, and anyone learning that choosing peace, setting boundaries, receiving love, and prioritizing their own healing isn't selfish. Your cup matters too.
