This book constitutes the proceedings of the BPM 2026 Responsible BPM Forum, Process Technology Forum, and Educators Forum held at the 24th International Conference on Business Process Management, BPM 2026, which took place in Toronto, Canada, during September / October 2026.
The Responsible Business Process Management (RBPM) Forum provides a platform for exploring how to integrate responsibility into BPM practices, addressing challenges from three perspectives: technological, managerial, and conceptual. The Process Technology Forum covers technical and engineering aspects related to the study, design, development, and maintenance of software systems that support the modeling, simulation, analysis, enactment, and monitoring of business processes. The Educators Forum explores methods to improve BPM teaching in a dynamic and practice-oriented way.
The 27 full papers included in this book were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 65 papers submitted to the above-mentioned fora.
Biografie (Manfred Reichert)
Prof. Dr. Manfred Reichert hält eine Diplom in Wirtschaftsmathematik und promovierte zum Thema Dynamische Ablaufänderungen in Workflow-Management-Systemen zum Dr.rer.nat. Er war Associate Professor an der Universität von Twente in den Niederlanden und ist seit 2008 Professor an der Universität Ulm. Hier forscht er zu den Themen rund um adaptive und fortschrittliche Prozess-Management-Systeme. Aber auch viele weitere Themen wie zum Beispiel Service-orientierte Architekturen und mobile Anwendungen sind Gegenstand seiner Forschung.
