Bryony Hill: My Dia-beat-es Weight Loss Diet Diary, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

Bryony Hill's life was transformed when she was given the news that she had Type 2 Diabetes. This shot across the bows was given by a nurse who told her she was overweight, had to exercise more and must return in six months a changed woman. Grasping the challenge with both hands, rather than a croissant, and at the same time retaining her sense of fun and humour, Bryony succeeded in losing over two stones and managed to put the diabetes into remission. My Dia-beat-es Weight Loss Diet Diary follows Bryony's ups, her downs and progress throughout a year. Packed full of delicious, seasonal recipes, tips and useful information this is not just a recipe book for those with diabetes. It should be considered as a valuable source of nutritional building blocks to which other ingredients can be added without fuss or bother to suit members of the family not similarly affected. Bryony's personal, chatty style makes you laugh and feel at home and shows that it is possible to come out at the other end by making a few, gentle tweaks her motto being: "If it doesn't go into my trolley, it doesn't go into my tummy."
