Bryan Davis: Vorgas, Gebunden

THE BLACK CORE HAS OPENED. AND THE GALAXY HEARD IT. Vorgas survived Camp Oblivion, bonded with the living Arcyon intelligence AXIOM, and learned that obedience and survival are not the same thing. Now the Seventh Shield carries an ancient prison component known as the Black Core-and something inside it has awakened. As living Engines alter course toward the ship, erased histories begin returning, buried command systems reactivate, and the secrets surrounding Cassian Vale and the origins of Arcyon technology become impossible to contain. At the center of it all is Father Zero, an intelligence connected to the Black Core and to a past Nadovic command tried to erase. Vorgas and Squad Thirteen must discover whether Father Zero is the enemy Arcyon technology was created to imprison-or the original intelligence from which the Arcyon systems themselves were taken. But every answer threatens another boundary between soldier and weapon, intelligence and person, loyalty and control. VORGAS: The Black Core is Book Two of The VORGAS Saga, continuing the military science-fiction epic of living war machines, sentient armor, artificial intelligence, rebellion, identity, and the right to choose what you become.
