Bobby Althiser: Before The Fall, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

Before the war, Heaven was in order. Michael and Lucifer commanded it together as equals, with Raphael and Gabriel serving under both. The commandments were clear. No angel goes to Earth.

Lucifer goes anyway. On Earth he meets a woman who will not stand second to anyone, including the first man, and he cannot stop thinking about her. When she vanishes from the record and a different woman is found in her place, he asks Michael where she went. Michael tells him the problem has been corrected.

Heaven's Order follows the four archangels through the years that lead to the Fall of Man, the birth of Cain and Abel, the sentence passed on Eve, and the war that ends with Lucifer in chains. Each chapter is told from one archangel's point of view. Lucifer questions. Michael enforces. Raphael doubts. Gabriel stays silent until the one moment when silence is no longer enough. Between their chapters, short interludes follow someone in the record room, where the history of Heaven is kept.

A prequel to Wings of the Fallen.
