Ben Okri, 1959 in Nigeria geboren, verbrachte seine Kindheit dort und in England. Er studierte vergleichende Literaturwissenschaften und veröffentlichte Lyrik, Erzählungen und Romane. Ben Okri lebt und arbeitet in London.
