Camilla Reid, formerly the Editorial Director of Campbell Books, has many years' experience of conceiving and creating books for young readers. Axel Scheffler, geboren 1957 in Hamburg, Grafikstudium an der Bath Acadamy of Art in England, lebt als Illustrator mit seiner Familie in London. Er veröffentlichte zahlreiche Buchillustrationen, hauptsächlich für Kinder, zeichnet aber auch für Zeitungen und Zeitschriften und gehört heute zu den national und international bedeutendstem Kinderbuchillustratoren.
