Angel Dominguez: Don't Tell My Mother If They Kill Me, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Poems of heart and fist that wrestle with form, legacy, memory, and mortality

Don't Tell My Mother If They Kill Me is a rebellious declaration of anti-fascist survival poetics. Part manifesto, part prayer / spell book, these dynamic, playful, provocative, and unapologetic poems pull no punches. These are distinctly first-gen Latiné working class poems---bus poems, smoke break poems, grief amulets, fight-me-in-the-street litanies, poems to keep it pushing against the woes and throes of empire and its many henchmen.
