Biografie (Andrea Camilleri (1925-2019))
Andrea Camilleri wurde 1925 in Porto Empedocle, Sizilien, geboren. Er war Schriftsteller, Drehbuchautor und Regisseur und lehrte über zwanzig Jahre an der Accademia d'Arte Drammatica Silvio D'Amico. Seit 1998 stürmte jeder Titel des Autors die italienische Bestsellerliste. Mit seinem vielfach ausgezeichneten Werk hat er sich auch einen festen Platz auf den internationalen Bestsellerlisten erobert. Im Kindler Verlag sind etliche seiner Werke erschienen. Andrea Camilleri war verheiratet, hatte drei Töchter und vier Enkel und lebte in Rom. Er starb am 17. Juli 2019 im Alter von 93 Jahren in Rom.Biografie (Stephen Sartarelli)
