Amanda Lane: The Dinosaurs Guide to Blowing Off Steam, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

A heartwarming, rhyming story that helps children navigate anger and frustration. We all have days when everything goes perfectly.. until it doesn't! For one little green dinosaur, a broken toy turns a magnificent afternoon upside down, sending him into a full blown, foot stomping tantrum. Written in an engaging, lyrical cadence, this book perfectly captures the raw frustration children feel when plans change or things break. Through Toby's journey from a big cheesy grin to a fiery red scowl, and back again, young readers will learn practical, playful ways to self-soothe, from mindful breathing to shaking the mad out with a song. An essential addition to any shelf for parents, teachers, and counselors looking for an engaging way to discuss emotional regulation with young children.

When Toby the T-Rex's favorite fire truck breaks, his happy day disappears in a flash of frustration. When a deep breath doesn't quite do the trick, Toby and his friends get a little silly and try a musical approach! Perfect for toddlers, this charming story shows children that if one calming tool doesn't work, they can always try another to find their smile again.
