Klappentext

"The work itself is the real problem. It's filthy, degrading, dehumanizing, and violent. People say it's necessary, that "somebody's gotta do it", that it's just part of humanity's role in the food chain. But if any of them ever had to puncture the brain of a live cow, or slit its throat while it may or may not be conscious, they might develop second thoughts. That's his job. Frank is a sanctioned killer."Every shift at the slaughterhouse chips away at Frank's dignity, not to mention his sanity. The only saving grace are the four coworkers with whom he's developed a unique bond. When they're not searching for humorous observations within their horrid workplace, the group makes a game of brainstorming schemes that'll make them rich, so they'll never have to work another day on the line. But when the strange loner known as Isaac displays a sudden penchant for company theft, the group can't help but wonder-could he hold the answer?
