Adam Nevill: Banquet for the Damned, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

Something sinister stalks these streets . . . A chilling occult thriller from award-winning author Adam Nevill, Banquet for the Damned is both a homage to the great age of British ghost stories and an expertly paced modern tale of Devil worship and witchcraft. 'An impeccable slice of modern horror' - Maxim Jakubowski

In Scotland's oldest university town something evil is plaguing the streets. Students are vanishing and turning up dead - each reported to have been haunted by night terrors.

When struggling musicians, Dante and Tom arrive at St. Andrews to meet Professor Coldwell, author of Banquet of the Damned , they discover that the town's bloody history of witchcraft and ritual murder may have begun again.

Meanwhile, Hart Miller, a researcher of dream culture, begins investigating the mysterious deaths. Strange shadows have been seen amongst the ruins, body parts are being washed ashore and there are whispers of a vengeful prophecy . . .

This is certainly not a place for outsiders, especially at night. So what chance do they have at surviving an ageless supernatural evil and the ruthless cult that worships it?
