This book focuses on the challenges that economic globalization poses in industrial relations in developing countries like Bangladesh. It explores how labor rights are violated in a global supply chain, and how the international labor standards can offset the negative impacts of globalization. After examining the multifarious functions of labor law in the globalized world, this book critically examines the effectiveness of the regulatory framework of Bangladesh to deal with these challenges.
