Harry Benson hat jeden US-Präsidenten seit Eisenhower fotografiert, er dokumentierte das Civil Rights Movement der 1960er Jahre und war neben Robert Kennedy, als dieser ermordet wurde. Aus Bensons Kamera stammen viele hervorragende Porträts von Prominenten wie den Beatles, der Queen, Elizabeth Taylor und Michael Jackson. 2009 wurde der geborene Schotte, der in New York und Florida lebt, zum Commander of the British Empire (CBE) ernannt.
