Will Adams, geboren 1963, hat in seinem Leben schon viele Berufe ausgeübt. Er arbeitete als Verkäufer, Maler, Dekorateur, Pförtner und Techniker, bevor er sich als Autor historischer Sachbücher einen Namen machte. Daneben unternahm er Entdeckungsreisen in die verschiedensten Weltgegenden unter anderm eine Rucksacktour durch Ägypten. Die Kultur und Geschichte dieses Landes ließen ihn nicht mehr los.
