Produktinfo

Die Dresdner Hofkapelle gehörte in der ersten Hälfte des 18. Jahrhunderts zu den besten Ensembles in ganz Europa und zählte zahlreiche Ausnahmevirtuosen zu ihren Mitgliedern. Das berühmte „Dresdner Barock“ steht in der Musikgeschichte für einen opulenten, an Soloinstrumenten reichen Concerto-Stil, der auch ein wichtiger Schritt hin zur klassischen Sinfonik war: Aber auch die geistlichen Werke, die hier entstanden sind, überraschen durch eine Vielfalt an Formen des Ausdrucks und der Gestaltung, wie sie auf diesem Gebiet eher selten anzutreffen sind. Vivaldis Techniken aufgreifend, entwickelten Komponisten um Pisendel, Heinichen und Zelenka einen für Dresden typischen reichhaltigen Klang.
